2-1-2: ORGANIZATION AND MEETINGS:
   A.   The commission shall elect its own chair and create and fill such offices as it may determine necessary for the proper conduct of the affairs and business of the commission.
   B.   Meetings of the commission shall be held when duly called by the chair by written or oral notice. At least one regular meeting shall be held each month for not less than nine (9) months of the year. A majority of voting members of the commission shall constitute a quorum, with the chair not being counted in determining a quorum. As the presiding officer over the meeting, the chair may only vote when necessary to break a tie vote of the voting members. All meetings shall be open to the public. Written rules consistent with this chapter and the laws of the state for the transaction of business of the commission shall be adopted. Written records of meetings, hearings, resolutions, findings, studies, permits and actions shall be maintained and be open to the public. (Ord. 475, 3-7-2005)
