8-6-1: PURPOSE:

Pursuant to the Idaho administrative procedures act (IDAPA) 16.01.08550.06, it is the responsibility of the city to protect the city water system from contamination due to backflow. The purpose of this chapter is to guard the public health and safety of the water consumer by enforcement of the provisions of this chapter. (Ord. 482, 6-5-2006)
