A. It is the policy of the city that all utility service charges are due and payable within fifteen (15) days of billing. Any utility service charges not paid in full by the date due shall be considered delinquent, and shall be subject to collection in accordance with the provisions of this code. (Ord. 532, 5-3-2010)
B. Any utility service charges, or portion thereof, that is disputed by the customer must be done so in writing to the city clerk. If the city clerk cannot resolve the dispute, it shall be presented to the city council for resolution at the next regularly scheduled city council meeting. The decision of the city council shall be final. Any utility service charges, or portion thereof, that is not in dispute by the customer shall be paid in full by the date due, or shall be considered delinquent and shall be subject to collection in accordance with the provisions of this code. For the purposes of this code, the monthly minimum water service charge, water meter demand charge, and sewer base unit charge shall be considered not to be in dispute. (Ord. 482, 6-5-2006; amd.
