7-1-1: STANDARDS ADOPTED:
   A.   There exist manuals, standards and specifications for uniform street and sidewalk construction, repair, maintenance and traffic control published by the local highway technical assistance council (LHTAC), Idaho transportation department (ITD), the Idaho standards for public works construction executive committee (ISPWC) and the federal highway administration (FHA). More specifically, these manuals, standards and specifications are:
      1.   Manual for use of public right of way permits for utilities and encroachments, as published and periodically revised by the LHTAC;
      2.   Manual for use of public right of way standard approach policy, as published and periodically revised by the LHTAC;
      3.   Manual for streets and highways, as published and periodically revised by the LHTAC;
      4.   "Idaho Standards For Public Works Construction", as published and periodically revised by the ISPWC;
      5.   Idaho transportation department standards for highway construction, as published and periodically revised by the ITD;
      6.   "Manual On Uniform Traffic Control Devices" (MUTCD), as published and periodically revised by the FHA;
      7.   Idaho transportation department catalog of stormwater best management practices (BMPs) for highway construction and maintenance, as published and periodically revised by the ITD.
   B.   The most recent editions of these manuals, standards and specifications are hereby adopted by reference as the street, sidewalk and public right of way construction, repair and maintenance standards and specifications of the city.
   C.   A copy of all such manuals, standards and specifications shall be kept on file by the city. (Ord. 482, 6-5-2006)
