A. Any vehicle parked in violation of traffic regulations, or any vehicle parked so as to obstruct the free movement of traffic or causing a traffic hazard, may be removed upon order of the city law enforcement agency. Any such vehicle so removed shall be kept under the control of the city law enforcement agency until the owner or their authorized agent pays the reasonable cost of removal and storage in addition to the penalty provided for such improper parking.
B. Any such vehicle shall be deemed to be improperly parked after a period of fifteen (15) minutes.
C. The cost of redemption shall include the actual cost and expense of the removal in addition to a reasonable per day storage charge and such costs and expenses shall be a lien in favor of the city. (Ord. 482, 6-5-2006)
