It is the objective of the city to support, where possible, the educational institutions within the community, to emphasize the importance of education for all citizens. A close working relationship needs to be maintained with the Carbon County School District to encourage and facilitate the improvement of elementary and secondary education in Price.
The city needs to actively participate in and support the growth and development of the College of Eastern Utah, to understand the needs and impacts of this noteworthy higher education institution. Support for continued programs through the Utah State University Extension is likewise warranted. (Ord. 2004-001, 2004)
