If the city engineer denies or disapproves any grading permit for a proposed building site, based on the finding that such site is a geologically hazardous area, the building official shall thereafter issue no permit authorizing construction in that area or on that site, except as permitted in section 15.32.070 of this chapter. 15.32.050: NO BUILDING PERMIT ISSUED WHEN AREA CANNOT BE CONVERTED FOR SAFE CONSTRUCTION:
The building official shall disapprove the application and shall not issue the permit applied for if the proposed area or site is a geologically hazardous area and cannot be converted into a safe area for construction purposes. (Ord. 1285-78, 1978)
