8.04.050: NEW OR REMODELED ESTABLISHMENTS; PLAN REVIEW REQUIRED:
When a food service establishment is hereafter constructed or extensively remodeled, or when an existing structure is converted for use as a food service establishment, properly prepared plans and specifications for such construction, remodeling or alteration, showing layout, arrangement and construction materials of work area, and the location, size and type of fixed equipment and facilities, shall be submitted to the health officer for approval. This approval shall be based upon specifications and standards outlines in the code of food service sanitation regulations, and must be received before such work is begun. (Ord. 1278-77, 1977)
