5.40.020: LICENSE REQUIRED FOR OPERATORS:
It is unlawful for any person who owns or controls a taxicab to permit it to be driven, and no taxicab licensed by the city shall be so driven at any time for hire, unless the taxicab is operated by a driver who has then in force a valid driver's license, together with a taxicab endorsement thereon issued by the state driver's license division. (Ord. 2008-001, 2008)
