All recyclables, compostable garbage and landfill materials collected and picked up within the city shall be hauled and transported to the Fillmore County Resource Recovery Center only, regardless of the person, entity or contractor who collects and hauls these categories of refuse. Yard and garden waste may be taken and hauled to a specific area as designated from time to time by the city. Construction debris shall be hauled to either the Fillmore County Resource Recovery Center or a licensed demolition landfill. Residents and commercial establishments may contract with a contractor for the collection and hauling of bulky wastes, as defined in § 50.22; these bulky wastes shall be hauled exclusively to the Fillmore County Resource Recovery Center if the wastes are acceptable by the Center.
