(A) Required on-site parking space shall be provided on the same lot as the principal building or use, except that combined or joint parking facilities may be provided for one or more buildings or uses in Commercial Districts and Industry Districts, provided that the total number of spaces shall equal the sum of the requirements for each building or use.
(B) Special purpose off-street automobile parking facilities, to the extent required in this subchapter, may be provided on the same lot or premises with the parking generator, or on any lot or premises, a substantial portion of which is within 800 feet of the parking generator.
