§ 155.003 BUILDING PERMITS.
   A building permit shall be required in all zoning districts, for activities that include new construction, additions, roofing, siding and structural remodeling. Any building permit issued for residential construction shall be valid for 18 months from the date of issue, unless otherwise noted, for completion of the project for which the certificate was issued. Any zoning certificate issued for commercial/industrial construction shall be valid for a period of 24 months from the date of issue, unless otherwise noted, for completion of the project for which the certificate was issued.
