Traffic regulations, M.S. Chapter 169, as last amended or as amended from time to time subsequent to the date hereof, known as the Minnesota Highway Traffic Regulation Act, three copies of which are on file in the office of the City Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer, is adopted as the traffic regulation code of the city, for the purpose of regulating all motor vehicles and traffic within the city. Every provision contained in the Minnesota Highway Traffic Regulation Act is hereby adopted and made a part of this section as if fully set forth herein. Any violation of the statutes adopted by reference in this section is a violation of this code, and a violator guilty of the offense shall be punished by the penalty as is prescribed by the statutes.
