§ 51.26 CONNECTION-USE CHARGES.
   A connection-use charge in the amount of $300 for connection to the city sanitary sewer system, and the sum of $120 for connection to the city water system are established for the connection to and operation, maintenance, depreciation, and necessary replacements of the sanitary sewer and water systems, and for necessary improvements, and enlargements and extensions of the systems. The charges shall be paid in advance to the City Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer prior to the issuance by the city of a permit for connection to the sanitary sewer and water systems of the city. The charges shall be paid once for each and every connection from each and every lot and from each and every house, dwelling, residence, apartment, commercial building, or other structure, whether made directly or indirectly. The charges are established and imposed pursuant to M.S. § 444.075, as it may be amended from time to time, and are in addition to, and not in lieu of, monthly sewer rental charges heretofore imposed and established by the city.
