5-4-3: DEFINITIONS:
For the purposes of this Chapter, the following definitions shall apply:
BOARD: The Power County Board of County Commissioners.
CONTROL BOARD: The advisory board created to oversee the regulation and enforcement process.
COUNTY: County of Power, State of Idaho.
DANGEROUS ANIMAL: Any animal or a species or a type likely to cause injury to a person, or any animal which has demonstrated a propensity to attack or cause injury to a person. This term specifically includes animals such as, but not limited to, lions, tigers, leopards, ligers, panthers, jaguars, lynxes, pumas, mountain lions, cougars, cheetahs, ocelots, bears, wolves, coyotes, nonhuman primates, crocodiles, alligators, as well as any poisonous reptile, and any hybrid or crossbreeds of these or other dangerous species. Animals specifically excluded from the term include those animals commonly accepted as domestic in the United States, including but not limited to ostrich, llama, emu, bison, bison hybrids and the like which are farmed for food or fiber, or animals commonly regarded and kept as household pets.
