A. Hazard Declared: The use of County Highway District roadways as temporary landing strips is hereby declared to be a hazard to residents of the County using said roadways for vehicular travel.
B. Prohibition: The use of any roadway subject to the jurisdiction and control of the County Highway District for the landing and taking off of any aircraft, other than in an actual emergency situation, is prohibited. (Ord. 78-02, 6-12-1978)
C. Penalty: Violation of the terms and conditions hereof shall constitute a misdemeanor and any person so in violation hereof may be punished as provided in Section 1-4-1 of this Code. Each such landing or takeoff shall be considered a separate offense. (Ord. 78-02, 6-12-1978; amd. 1998 Code)
