A. Penalty Imposed: A person who continues prohibited discharges is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, is subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code for each day or any portion of a day during which any violation of this chapter or any ordinance in relation hereto exists. Each day or any portion of a day during which any violation of this chapter or of any ordinance in relation hereto shall continue shall constitute a separate offense. B. Other Remedies: In addition to proceeding under authority of subsection A of this section, the city is entitled to pursue all other criminal and civil remedies to which it is entitled under authority of statutes or other ordinances against a person continuing prohibited discharges.
C. Right To Terminate Service: The city reserves the right to terminate service to any customer that fails to pay bills when due or discharges any prohibited wastes into the sewer system. (Ord. 576, 7-6-1998, eff. 7-6-1998)
