Holidays for City employees in the Police Department and Fire Department not covered by union contract shall be the same as those stated in the City’s negotiated agreement with the FOP/OLC and IAFF Local 512 respectively; all other nonbargaining employees and departments heads employed by the City as of the effective date of this section shall observe four floating holidays, the employee’s birthday and holidays as stated in the City’s negotiated agreement with Local 1039 and Ohio Council 8 of AFSCME, nonbargaining unit employees hired after the effective date of this section (Ordinance 1995-32, passed 4-10-95) shall observe the holidays as stated in the City’s agreement with Local 1039 and Ohio Council 8.
