1351.09 SHARED SANITATION FACILITIES.
   The occupants of not more than two (2) adjacent dwelling units, not exceeding four (4) people, which are located in the same dwelling may share a single flush water closet, a single lavatory basin and a single bathtub or shower, provided:
   (a)   Neither of the two (2) dwelling units contains more than two (2) rooms. However, for the purpose of this subsection, a kitchen with not more than fifty square feet (50 SF) of floor area is not counted as a room.
   (b)   The habitable room area of each of such dwelling units aggregates not more than two hundred and fifty square feet (250 SF).
   (c)   The water closet and lavatory basin as well as the bathtub and shower are within a room, separate from the habitable rooms, which affords privacy and which is accessible to the occupants of each dwelling unit without going through any portion of the dwelling unit of another person or outside the dwelling. Where there is more than one (1) sleeping room in a dwelling unit, access to the bathroom must be provided without going through a sleeping room.
   (d)   The bathtub or shower is within a room, separate from the habitable rooms, which affords privacy and which is accessible to the occupants of each dwelling unit without going through the dwelling unit of another person or outside the dwelling.
