The Portsmouth Police Department is hereby authorized to charge fees for various services, as follows:
Accident/Incident Report | To be set by the Police Chief to cover actual costs of copying. |
Records Check | $6.00 |
Vehicle Impound Fee | $100.00 (Tow Truck to be paid $70.00) |
(Normal tow of one (1) hour or less. Each additional hour truck is required to be on tow will be charged in 15-minute increments of $50.00 per hour. If more than one truck is required, the cost of the tow will be billed for the time required for each truck, e.g., $50.00 per hour per truck.) | |
Vehicle Impound Release Fee | $20.00 |
Vehicle Storage | $20.00 per day (after 1st hour of storage) |
Long Term Vehicle Storage | $50.00 additional storage fee per day beginning 120 hours from time the owner is notified of tow. |
