Micklethwait to a stone in the section line between Section 4 and Section 9 and the southwest corner of the southeast quarter of Section 4; thence east on the north line of Section 9, Township 1, Range 21, 1,250 feet, more or less, to a stake corner of Sections 3, 4, 9 and 10; thence east on the north line of Section 10, Township 1, Range 21 to the section corner of Section 2, 3, 10 and 11; thence north on the west line of Section 2, Township 1, Range 21 to the northwest corner of Section 2; thence east on the north line of Sections 2 and 1 of Township 1, Range 21, to the northeast corner of Section 1 of Township 1, Range 21, and the northwest corner of Section 6 of Township 2, Range 20; thence east on the north line of Sections 6 and 5 of Township 2, Range 20, to the northeast corner of Section 5, Township 2, Range 20; thence south along the east line of Section 5, Township 2, Range 20, 5,310 feet, more or less, to a point; thence south 84 degrees 51 minutes east 1,453.95 feet to a monument; thence south 17 degrees 36 minutes west 1,040.9 feet to a stone; thence continuing south 17 degrees 36 minutes west 177.4 feet to a point in the north line of Ohio State Route No. 140; thence south 82 degrees 10 minutes west with the north right-of-way line of Ohio State Route No. 140 577.16 feet to a monument; thence south 71 degrees 17 minutes west with the north right-of-way line of Ohio State Route No. 140 613.96 feet to the point of intersection of the north right-of-way line of Ohio State Route No. 140 and the east line of Fractional Section 8 of Township 2, Range 20; thence south along the east line of Fractional Section 8 of Township 2, Range 20, to the southeast corner of Fractional Section 8 and the north low water mark of the Ohio River; thence northwestward along the low water mark to the southeast corner of the old Sciotoville corporation limits; thence westwardly along the meander of the Ohio River at low water mark 12,750 feet, more or less, to a stake at the low water mark of the Ohio River on the west line of the land of the City of Portsmouth and the east corporation line of New Boston, Ohio; thence north 6 degrees 28 minutes west along the west line of the land of the City of Portsmouth and the east corporation line of New Boston, 1,495 feet to a stake in the west line of the land of the City of Portsmouth (filtration plant); thence in a northwesterly and westerly direction 1,969 feet, more or less, to a stake at the top of the hill; thence with the line between the lands of the City of Portsmouth (reservoir tract) and the Basham Homestead Tract south 3 degrees west 314 feet to a stake in the north line of the Portsmouth and Haverhill Turnpike; thence in a westerly direction along the corporation line of New Boston 618.88 poles (10,211.52 feet) more or less, to a stone on a high bluff of rock; thence following the corporation line of New Boston in a southwesterly direction and parallel with the Portsmouth and Haverhill Turnpike to a point at the boundary between the land of the Peebles Realty Company and the land of Damarin and Scudder and being the line between the corporation of New Boston and the City of Portsmouth; thence southwardly along the corporation line of New Boston and the east line of the land of Damarin and Scudder 1,320 feet, more or less, to a point on the north side of Gallia Street and in the west line of the land of the Peebles Realty Company and in the east line of the lands of Damarin and Scudder; thence south along the corporation line of New Boston 1,711 feet, more or less, to a point on the north low water mark of the Ohio River, and the southwest corner of New Boston; thence westwardly along the north low water mark of the Ohio River to the point of beginning.
