945.03 GENERAL RULES.
   (a)   All individuals and groups when entering the Park grounds shall comply with all laws of the United States of America, the State of Ohio and all of the rules and regulations governing the City of Portsmouth.
 
   (b)   No person shall drive any vehicle upon any portion of the public parks other than on driveways designated as such except motorized wheelchairs are permitted.
 
   (c)   Dogs must be leashed with the exception of parks designated for dogs and owners are responsible for removing waste left by dogs. No person shall hitch any animal to any tree or standing shrub.
   (d)   City of Portsmouth is not liable for damage or injury to persons and their personal property using Park.
   (e)   Any use of metal detectors is prohibited.
   (f)   Overnight parking, walking, sleeping and camping by individuals or groups is prohibited within the confines of the Park.
   (g)   No individuals or groups will be permitted to sell any food, drinks or novelties within the confines of the Park, unless accompanied by a permit issued by the City Manager.
   (h)   No boisterous, indecent or vulgar language will be tolerated, nor shall any public nuisance be permitted.
   (i)   Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in any city park or facility with the exceptions of functions accompanied by a permit.
   (j)   Damage, injury, or removal of facilities, plants, trees or wildlife is not allowed.
   (k)   Littering is prohibited.
   (l)   No glass bottles, containers or fires are permitted on park property.
   (m)   Children under the age of 14 shall be accompanied by an adult.
   (n)   Climbing on statutes, monuments, fences, buildings, non-playground structures or trees is prohibited.
   (o)   This park is the property of the City of Portsmouth. Any alteration or addition must first be approved by the City Manager.
   (p)   Smoking is prohibited within twenty-five feet (25') of playground equipment.
