Within thirty (30) days after the receipt of the application described herein the Department of Health shall grant or deny the applicant a permit to operate. Within the said thirty (30) days the Department of Health shall conduct an inspection of the premises, shall examine the supporting documents required and determine the accuracy of the application. If a currently operational “pain clinic”, “pain management clinic” or “pain management center” is denied a permit to operate pursuant to the provisions of this chapter and after submitting the required application as prescribed herein, it shall cease operational immediately and may resubmit a new application.
