The areas covered by these hillside regulations shall be all those currently underdeveloped or undeveloped lands or lots with a slope of ten percent (10%) or more and/or the existence of KOPE geologic formations. A KOPE formation consists of bedrock material composed of approximately eighty percent (80%) shale and twenty percent (20%) limestone overlaid by silts or clays, thus creating a slideplane at their interface.
