It shall be the duty of the Supervisor of Cemeteries to take charge of the Cemetery, to keep the same in order, to be present therein frequently and when present therein to give as strict attention to his duties as they require, especially on Sundays. He shall report to the police any and all cases of the violation of the published cemetery rules, and of injury done to the walks, enclosures, monuments, shrubbery or other fixtures and appurtenances to the lots or ground, with the names, if possible, of the persons doing the same, and do whatever else may be necessary to bring offenders to justice.
