To provide necessary funds for equipment, personnel and other expense in connection with collection and disposal of residential garbage and refuse in the City, a service charge is levied against every subscriber for municipal garbage and refuse collection and disposal as follows:
Starting with the base rates set forth in (a), (b) and (c) to increase yearly by ten percent (10%) beginning July 1, 2022, January 1, 2023, January 1, 2024 and by seven and five-tenths percent (7.5%) yearly beginning January 1, 2025.
(a) Monthly charge of twenty dollars and fifty cents ($20.50), except as noted in subsections (b) and (c) hereof.
(b) Monthly charge of fifteen dollars and fifty cents ($15.50), for heads of households who have reached the age of sixty-five and file a prescribed certificate with the City on or before the first quarter billing date.
(c) Monthly charge of sixteen dollars ($16.00) for commercial.

(d) Monthly charge of thirteen dollars and seventeen cents ($13.17) payable qurterly, for others, except as noted in subsections (a) and (b).
(e) Yearly increases at a rate of 2.5% for non-senior, seniors and others, will be implements yearly effective on January 1 each calendar year up to and including 2022. The 2.5% yearly increases are to be received into Fund #632 - Sanitation CIP to be used for maintaining equipment and for the purchase of trucks and tipper cans. (Ord. 2013-30. Passed 6-24-13.)
