901.17 PROJECTIONS FROM BUILDINGS INTO PUBLIC WAYS.
   No person shall make, place or allow to be made or placed, in any street or public place in the City, any doorstep, cellar doors, basement passages, or railings around the same, extending more than four feet into such street or public place, or place in the alleys any window or air passage for cellars which extends more than two feet from the line of the alley and which is not covered by iron grating with bars not more than one-half inch apart. Whoever violates this section shall remove the cause of offense within a reasonable time after being advised of its constituting a violation of this section.
