901.05 DUMPING HEAVY LOADS ON PAVED STREETS.
No person shall dump or unload upon any paved street, in such a manner as to cause a sudden jolt thereon, any bodies of wood, stone, iron or other solid substance whose weight is sufficient to injure the pavements, without first thoroughly protecting the roadway with a good and sufficient plank or platform. All such substances, however unloaded, whenever possible shall be piled and ricked in such a manner as to present a smooth surface to the pavement so that the weight shall be distributed as much as possible, and when necessary to prevent injury to the street such piling or ricking shall be made upon a suitable plank.
