545.22 DAMAGE OR INJURY TO LEVEES AND EMBANKMENTS.
   (a)   No person shall operate any type of motor-driven vehicle on any of the City's flood protection levees or embankments.
   (b)   No person shall place any obstruction on any portion of the floodwall or levee, or engage in excavating, kindling fires, depositing foreign substances, permitting grazing or riding of livestock, or trespassing in any manner at any point where signs are posted by authority of the Mayor, or in painting, marking or defacing, or in any way causing damage to any of the flood protection works, levees or embankments.
   (c)   This section shall not apply to City-owned vehicles being used for the maintenance and upkeep of the levees or embankments, nor shall it apply to designated traffic crossings on the levees or embankments.
   (d)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
