§ 33.29 DOES NOT AFFECT THE OPERATION OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
   (A)   Nothing herein shall be construed to in any way or manner affect the operation of the Police Department or the rights and privileges of the members thereof under the Civil Service Act of the state, being Texas Local Gov't Code, § 143.001 et seq.
   (B)   At all times when a member of the Police Reserve is accompanied by a member of the regular Police Department, the member of the regular Police Department will be the person in charge of the operation being accomplished.
