§ 33.27 COMMANDING OFFICER.
   The Commanding Officer of the Police Reserve Unit shall be directly responsible to the Chief of the City Police Department and shall carry out the policies, orders and directives as are issued by or through the Chief of Police or his or her designated assistant. The Commanding Officer shall develop, with the advice of the Chief of Police, organizational policies, standard operating procedures and training programs of the Unit. He or she shall be responsible for seeing the overall program of the Unit is properly adhered to, developing and maintaining continued assignments, or instructions as directed or delegated by the Chief of Police. The Commanding Officer shall preside over all meetings of the Police Reserve Unit.
