§ 33.26 DIRECTOR AND SPONSOR.
   (A)   The Chief of the Police Department shall be the director and sponsor of the Police Reserve Unit.
   (B)   He or she shall aid in developing and establishing policies, directives and standard operating procedures, and programs of the Unit.
   (C)   He or she shall appoint the Commanding Officer of the Reserve Unit.
