§ 33.23 TERMINATION; REASONS.
   The membership of any member may terminate or be terminated, suspended or demoted at any time for one of the following reasons:
   (A)   His or her own volition;
   (B)   Flagrant and serious violation of Unit or Department rules and regulations;
   (C)   Repeated minor violations of Unit or Department rules and regulations;
   (D)   Violations in general may include, but are not limited to the following:
      (1)   Drinking intoxicating liquors while on duty or in uniform;
      (2)   Willful disobedience of a lawful order;
      (3)   For unnecessary violence toward any person;
      (4)   For sleeping on duty or being absent from a post without a superior's permission;
      (5)   For disrespect shown toward a superior officer;
      (6)   For indecent, profane or harsh language while on duty or in uniform;
      (7)   For accepting a bribe;
      (8)   For cowardice;
      (9)   For conduct subversive to the good order and discipline of the Department;
      (10)   For failure to report for duty or a meeting without first obtaining permission from a superior officer; and
      (11)   For releasing information concerning official business without permission.
   (B)   Those acts, not specifically stated herein, which involve moral turpitude, or acts and violations of departmental rules and regulations, or which may bring discredit upon the individual or upon the Department, or which may conflict with the policies announced by the Department from time to time, if such an act be committed or violation incurred by a member of the Police Reserve, the action shall be taken that may be necessary depending upon the seriousness of the offense and in the same manner and degree as if the offense had been specifically stated herein.
