(A) A permit for an amusement redemption machine or device establishment shall expire one year from the date of issuance. A permit may be renewed only by making application as provided in § 120.02. Application for renewal should be made at least 30 days before the expiration date. When made less than 30 days before the expiration date, the expiration of the permit will not be affected by the pendency of the application.
(B) When the City Secretary denies renewal of a permit, the applicant may not be issued an amusement redemption machine or device establishment permit for one year from the date of that denial. If, subsequent to denial, the City Secretary finds that the basis for denial of the renewal permit has been corrected or abated, the applicant may be granted a permit if at least 90 days have elapsed since the denial.
