§ 160.220 OCCUPANCY PERMITS.
   No change in the use or occupancy of land, nor any change of use occupancy in an existing building, except solely for single-family dwelling purposes, shall be made, nor shall any new building be occupied for any purpose, nor shall any new business begin operation, nor shall any ongoing business operated by a new individual or entity begin operation until a certificate of occupancy has been issued by the Enforcement Officer. Every certificate of occupancy shall state the new occupancy complies with all provisions of this chapter and any applicable building codes. A fee of $35 will be charged for each certificate of occupancy and the fee shall include an inspection to ensure compliance.
