There is hereby created a Board of Adjustment consisting of five members, and two alternate members, each to be appointed by the City Commission for a term of two years. The City Commission may remove a member for cause, as found by the City Commission, on a written charge after a public hearing, or for no cause at the Commission's discretion. Members shall be residents of Port Isabel, Texas. Vacancies shall be filled by appointment of the City Commission. The replacement shall serve out the unexpired term of any member whose place on the Board has become vacant.
