(A) Street lighting shall conform to the latest edition of the Illuminating Engineering Society Handbook. Round tapered standards with bracket arms shall be used. Lighting levels as recommended for very light traffic in residential areas, medium traffic on feeder streets and heavy traffic on thoroughfares.
(B) Initial cost on installation and cost of operation and maintenance for the first three years shall be paid to the local governing body.
