It shall be the duty of an owner of a taxicab, limousine or shuttle bus licensed under this chapter to furnish the Inspector of Taxicabs the name, address and driver’s license number of every taxicab driver applying for work before hiring him or her. The owner shall also furnish to the Inspector of Taxicabs the name and address of every taxicab, limousine and shuttle bus driver discharged by the owner and shall give the reason for the discharge.
