§ 116.09 IDENTIFICATION OF VEHICLE.
   Every taxicab, limousine and shuttle bus shall have painted on the door thereof the trade name approved in the taxicab company's license, together with the owner’s telephone number and the taxicab, limousine or shuttle bus number. The number of the taxicab, limousine or shuttle bus shall be painted immediately on the front fender well of each side of the vehicle. The number of the cab and the telephone number of the owner shall also be painted upon the rear of the taxicab, limousine or shuttle bus. All the lettering mentioned in this section shall be not less than two and one-half inches in height, and not less than five-sixteenths inch wide stroke. The vehicle shall be painted or wrapped with the color scheme approved in the taxicab company's license. Provided, however, nothing in this chapter shall prohibit the use of small billboards as commercial advertising space on the taxicab, limousine or shuttle bus. The billboard, shall not, however, be permitted to obstruct the view of the driver, or otherwise constitute any hazard to safety in the sole judgement of the Inspector of Taxicabs.
