§ 111.14 SECURITY.
   The applicant shall provide licensed peace officers or licensed security officers for the protection of patrons and their property and for the protection of persons residing or working nearby and nearby property. Security officers shall be city police officers or shall be approved by the Police Chief. At least one officer shall be required from opening until 10:30 p.m. or until 30 minutes after closing if earlier than 10:00 p.m. Depending upon the size and location of the carnival, the Chief of Police may require up to three officers to be present. In the event of any reported act of violence or threat to a patron or person residing or working near the permitted location, or of theft of, damage to or trespass upon a patron's property or property located near the permitted location, the Police Chief may require the applicant to provide additional security officers not to exceed four during daylight hours and eight after sunset.
