For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CARNIVAL. Includes a carnival, circus, tent show, amusement ride, traveling show, side show, festival and fair.
PERMITTED LOCATION. The site designated in the application for the location of the carnival which has been granted a permit for operation.
PERSON. Any individual, partnership, corporation, company, venture, association, trust, estate foundation, institution, organization, group, governmental subdivision or agency, or any other entity recognized by law as the subject of rights and duties whether operated for profit or not for profit.
