For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. Alcohol, or any beverage containing more than one-half of 1% of alcohol by volume, which is capable of use for beverage purposes, either alone or when diluted, as defined by the Tex. Alcoholic Beverage Code § 1.04.
CHAMBER. The Port Isabel Chamber of Commerce.
CITY. The City of Port Isabel, Texas and its departments.
DIRECTOR OF PARKS AND RECREATION. The Director of the city's Parks and Recreation Department, or his or her duly authorized representative.
EVENTS. Receptions, parties, cook-offs, festivals and fund raising events of a social, charitable or non-profit nature.
PUBLIC PARKS. Any land, facility or building owned or maintained by the city for recreational purposes including all designated parks, playgrounds and the museum and Chamber locations.
