The purpose of this subchapter is to prevent any noise in or near, or on any public street, alley, boulevard, thoroughfare within any of the corporate limits of the city, which is reasonably calculated to disturb the peace and good order of the persons owning, using, or occupying property adjacent to public streets, alleys, boulevards and thoroughfares within any of the incorporated limits of the city.
