SECTION 12.11 SHOWS AND OTHER PUBLIC AMUSEMENTS.
   The City shall have the power to license and regulate the location and control the conduct or to suppress and prevent all theatres and theatrical performances, moving picture shows, circuses, carnivals, the exhibitions of common showman, shows of any kind and the exhibition of any natural or artificial curiosities, caravans, menageries, trained animal shows, musical exhibitions and performances, variety shows, public balls and ballets, pool and billiard parlors, and other places of public amusement whenever the preservation of the public order, tranquility or safety, or the protection of the public morals may require.
