§ 96.02 ENFORCEMENT.
   The code hereby adopted shall be enforced by the Fire Marshal, an official appointed by the governing body of the city for that purpose, who shall have the duties and powers conferred by the code upon the "Chief of the Fire Department", and any reference: within the code to the "Chief of the Fire Department", shall be held to mean the Fire Marshal of the city.
