§ 94.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Generally. A person who commits an offense under this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine in an amount not to exceed $2,000 per offense.
   (B)   Civil remedies and enforcement. In addition to the criminal enforcement and other remedial provisions provided by this chapter and by state law, the City Attorney or his or her designee may enforce the provisions of this chapter through any and all civil remedies available. The civil remedies shall include the right to bring an action against any owner or occupant in violation of the provisions of this chapter seeking injunctive relief and civil penalties pursuant to Tex. Loc. Gov't Code §§ 54.016 and 54.017. In the event of bringing a civil enforcement action, persons against whom enforcement is sought and against whom a civil remedy is granted, shall be liable for civil penalties, damages, court costs, attorney fees, and all costs and expenses reasonably related to the civil enforcement action.
