SECTION 2.08 MEETINGS OF THE CITY COMMISSION.
   The City Commission shall hold at least two regular meetings in each month at a time to be set by it as may be necessary for the transaction of the business of the City. All regular meetings of the City Commission shall be public and shall be held at the City Hall, except that the City Commission may designate another place for such meetings after publishing due notice thereof in one issue of a newspaper in general circulation in the City of Port Isabel, or upon a motion during a posted regular meeting, may adjourn from the City Hall to another location. The Mayor or any two members of the City Commission may call special meetings of the City Commission at any time. All special meetings shall be public, and shall be posted in conformity with state law. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, the City Commission may also hold executive sessions (which are closed to the public) and workshops as needed from time to time, so long as the same are held in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.
