(A) Insofar as applicable, Vernon's Revised Civil Statutes (1925) C.C.P. Article 867 through 920 are adopted and shall apply to the procedure to be used in the corporation court.
(B) There shall be taxes as costs against any defendant convicted of a misdemeanor in the court:

(C) Upon failure of a defendant to pay his or her fine and the costs enumerated above, he or she shall be committed to jail until the fine and costs are paid or until he or she has remained in jail a sufficient length of time to satisfy the fine and costs at the rate of $3 for each day.
(D) All fines and costs collected shall be paid into the city treasury for the use and benefit of the city.
