Upon streets where angle parking is permitted, no person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle other than at the angle to the curb or edge of the roadway as is indicated by appropriate signs or markings, and any vehicle parking in any such space shall be parked with the front part of such vehicle nearest to the curb or edge of the roadway, except a motorcycle or a moped, which may be backed into such parking space.
