Signs announcing a Garage Sale shall be limited to one on-premises sign, and two off-premises signs. The location of the two off-premises signs shall be at the discretion of the person holding the Garage Sale, and can only be placed on property with the property owners’ permission. Signs shall not be placed on a public right of way, or be attached to utility poles, traffic regulatory signs, traffic signal poles, or equipment boxes, and any signs so placed may be removed by the City. Signs may be put up the night before the first day of the Garage Sale and must be taken down within twenty-four (24) hours after the final day of the sale. Such signs shall be no larger than two square feet in area, and shall not be illuminated or animated.
